Netted Ring Tutorial

I've been workig on a few beaded ring patterns these days and "Netted Ring" is the first from the series. It is made with seed beads only using the circular netting stitch. For rings I like using metal ring blanks because they make the ring more solid. 

The "Netted Ring" features a beadwoven floral rosette made of seed beads embelishing the round pad of the ring blank. This beaded ring works up fast and is fun to make! Fits perfectly day to day wear and for special ocasions.

Pretty Flower - beaded pendant and ring

It's a new year and I have a new beaded pattern for all of you! Something little and pretty! :)

I created a beaded pendant which can easily be transformed into a ring and even into a bracelet. I still need to work the bracelet but I already have the idea in my mind!

"Pretty Flower" is made with two-hole SuperDuo beads, 11/0 Delica seed beads, small 3x10mm dagger beads and 3mm fire-polished beads.

Traditional embroidered jewelry

This post is not beadwork related but it's about something I've been working lately.

I made a small collection of traditionally inspired jewels for the Show of the National Carpet which took place in the Moldovan capital Chisinau the last Saturday. I really enjoyed working on this collection!

I had an idea in the beginning of this year to try to make some cross stitch jewelry with traditional Moldovan motifs. So I made a few pendants which went as birthday gifts for my friends and relatives during the year. Everyone liked them and I felt that I should make some more pieces and participate in a thematic fair. The Show of the National Carpet was the perfect event and my collection of cross stitch embroidered jewelry fitted very well. I called the collection "Moldavica".

Bead embroidery post earrings

I made these earrings on Sunday while watching a movie! I suppose I am not the only one who can't watch a movie without having their hands busy!

They are made in the bead embroidery and beadweaving technique.

More "In Bloom" earrings

I made some new "In Bloom" earrings. This time I used not only a different color scheme, but I also replaced the round bead from the original design with a fire-polished bead. They turned out pretty cool!

New Beading Tutorial - "In Bloom" beaded earrings

Good evening fellow beaders!

I've been playing with my beads as I often like to do and designed some delicate and romantic earrings. I called them "In Bloom" as they remind me of flowers blossoming.

These beadwoven earrings are made in two color combinations: the first is bronze and the second is made in gentle pink shades. They are made with round glass beads, 11/0 seed beads and small daggers beads.

Here goes the pair with bronze 11/0 seed beads (Toho 221) and rainbow frosted dark topaz 11/0 seed beads (Toho 162CF).

For the pink pair I used inside color lined terracotta luster 11/0 seed beads (Toho 186) and transparent frosted rosaline 11/0 seed beads (Toho 11F). 

And the two earrings together :)

A few more pictures with "Precious Beads" in action! :)

For the beaded beads I used two-hole Superduo Beads and seed beads. Then I mixed the beaded beads with all kind of glass beads and made these bracelets.

And the mint green beaded bead went for a necklace: natural green turquoise rondele beads, natural round green agate beads and 7/0 bronze Matubo seed beads.
