of beaded element (without ear wires) – 3.8 cm (1.5 inch)
Instructions
|
Step 1.
Cut
about 60 cm (24 inches) of thread and pass it through the needle hole.
Put
a stop bead leaving about 10cm (4 inches) of tail.

2.
|
Step 2.
Pick
one Superduo bead, one dagger bead and one Superduo bead and slide the beads
down the thread toward the stop bead.

3.
|
Go
with the needle through the upper hole of the last added Superduo bead.
|
4.
|
Step 3.
Pick
three 11/0 seed beads and go with the needle through the upper hole of the
next Superduo bead.
|
5.
|
Then
take the needle through the lower hole of the same Superduo bead the thread
exited from, through the next Dagger and Superduo beads.
|
6.
|
Go
with the needle through the upper hole of the same Superduo bead the thread
exited from and through the next two 11/0 seed beads.
|
7.
|
Step 4.
Turn
the beadwork on the other side. Pick three 11/0 seed beads, one Superduo bead
and another 11/0 seed bead and take the needle through the Superduo bead on
the right edge and the next two 11/0 seed beads.

8.
|
Step 5.
Turn
the beadwork on the other side. Pick another group of three 11/0 seed beads,
one Superduo bead and one 11/0 seed bead and take the needle through the
Superduo bead form the right edge and the next four 11/0 seed beads.

9.
|
Step 6.
Turn
the beadwork on the other side. Pick three 11/0 seed beads and go with the
needle top down through the upper hole of the Superduo on the right edge.
|
10.
|
Then
go through the lower hole of the same Superduo bead the thread exited from
and the next two 11/0 seed beads.
|
11.
|
Go
with the needle through the next four 11/0 seed beads as shown by the white
thread in the picture.

12.
|
Step 7.
Turn
the beadwork on the other side. Pick three 11/0 seed beads and go with the
needle top down through the upper hole of the Superduo bead from the right
edge.
|
13.
|
Go
through the lower hole of the same Superduo bead the thread exited from and
the next two 11/0 seed beads.
|
14.
|
Then
go with the needle through the next six 11/0 seed beads as shown by the white
thread in the picture.
|
15.
|
Step 8.
Turn
the beadwork on the other side. Pick another group of three 11/0 seed beads,
one Supeduo bead and one 11/0 seed bead and take the needle through the upper
hole of the Superduo bead from the right edge and the next 11/0 seed bead.

16.
|
Then
go with the needle through the next eleven 11/0 seed beads as shown by the
white thread in the picture above.

17.
|
Step
9.
Turn the beadwork on the
other side. Pick three 11/0 seed beads and go with the needle top down through
the upper hole of the Superduo bead from the right edge.
|
18.
|
Take
the needle through the lower hole of the same Superduo bead the thread exited
from and through the next two 11/0 seed beads.
|
19.
|
Then
go with the needle through the next two 11/0 seed beads.
|
20.
|
Step 10.
Pick
four Superduo beads and take the needle through three 11/0 seed beads as shown
in the picture.
|
21.
|
Step 11.
Pick
three 11/0 seed beads and take the needle top down through the upper hole of
the last Superduo bead from the left edge.
|
22.
|
Then
turn the beadwork on the other side and go with the needle through the lower
hole of the same Superduo bead the thread exited from and through the next 11/0
seed bead.

23.
|
Then
go through the next three 11/0 seed beads.
|
24.
|
Step 12.
Go
with the needle through all four Superduo beads.
|
25.
|
Then
turn the beadwork on the other side and take the needle through the upper
hole of the same Superduo bead the thread exited from.
|
26.
|
Step 13.
Add
by one Superduo bead between all Superduos of the previous row. There should
be a total of three Superduo beads added at this step.

27.
|
Step 14.
Turn
the beadwork on the other side. Then go through the lower hole of the same Superduo
bead the thread exited from and through the next Superduo.
|
28.
|
Then
go back towards the edge through the upper hole of the same Superguo bead the
thread exited from and through the next one.
|
29.
|
And
finally take the needle through the upper hole of the same Superduo bead the
thread exited from.
|
30.
|
Step 15.
Add
by one Superduo bead between all Superduos added in the previous row. There
should be a total of two Superduo beads added at this step.

31.
|
Step 16.
Turn
the beadwork on the other side. Go through the lower hole of the same Superduo
bead the thread exited from and through the next two Superduos.
|
32.
|
Then
go back towards the edge through the upper hole of the same Superguo bead the
thread exited from and through the next one.
|
33.
|
Then
take the needle through the upper hole of the same Superduo bead the thread
exited from.
|
34.
|
Step 17.
Add
one final Superduo bead between the Superduos added in the previous row. With
this step the beadwork is over.
Remove
the stop bead, hide the thread ends into the beadwork and cut the excess.

35.
|
Step 18.
Use
a flat-nose pliers to add a jump ring through the upper hole of the top
Superduo bead and a ear wire. The earring is complete.
